Jal Mahal (Water Place) – Jaipur’s wonderful historical heritage Jal Mahal, which is located in the middle of Mansagar Lake, was built by Sawai Jai Singh in 1799 for the water supply of Jaipur. The king used this palace to spend special time with his queen, it was also used for royal celebrations, hence it is also known by many other names like Eyeball, Romantic Palace. Only one floor of Jal Mahal is visible above the water, the rest four floors are under water, at night lake looks very beautiful. Jal Mahal, which translates to "Water Palace," is a stunning palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Its unique setting, surrounded by water, makes it one of the most picturesque and serene landmarks in the city.
Built in the 18th century by Maharaja Madho Singh I, the palace is a blend of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles. The structure features five stories, with four of them submerged under the water when the lake is full, creating the illusion of a palace floating on the water. The uppermost floor of the palace is visible and is adorned with beautiful arches, intricate carvings, and ornate decorations.

The area around the palace is lush with gardens, and the view of the palace with the Aravalli hills in the background is mesmerizing.
